Zafrani Malai Murgh (Chicken)


  • 1 whole chicken(without skin)
  • 1 tsp zeera powder(roasted)
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 3-4 tbsp milk
  • 1 pinch saffron(zafran)
  • 5 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1-2 lemons
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 onion
Cooking Directions
  • Wash chicken then mark some cuts on it. mix all the ingredients (except milk and saffron)make a paste of them after that put that paste in chicken and marinate it for atleast 1/2 hr take a large pan ,put chicken in it ,cover it,then cook it till then chicken tenders n its water dries. when chicken is cooked then take it out n in the last deep fry the chicken or just bake it for sometime to get the brown colour like chargha. last but not the least mix saffron n milk ,sprinkle it on the hot chicken,cut tomato n onion in ring shape for garnishing of chicken serve it with chill raita.
